SummitDMS can be used by project managers to plan, track and manage projects relating to deployment, application packaging and break-fix. SummitDMS can be used by clients as well as by vendors for successful project execution and can also be used by companies to manage projects in-house.

Can I access SummitDMS from my home computer?

You can access SummitDMS from anywhere anytime as long as you have a computer with internet access.

What web browsers does SummitDMS support?

SummitDMS can be used with all common internet browsers such as Internet Explorer 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, Mozilla Firefox and Opera.

Once we get a subscription, will we be able to customize SummitDMS to our requirements?

SummitDMS is easily customizable to your business needs. However, we undertake all customizations ourselves instead of allowing clients to perform the same.

How long does it take to implement SummitDMS?

SummitDMS can be up and running in a few minutes! However, this varies based on your requirements and the level of customization required.

Can I control the access my team members have to the system?

You can give access to SummitDMS to your team members, clients, vendors and partners and set up access privileges for them. SummitDMS’s advanced security features ensure that each user only sees information specific to their role.

Can I use "search" to find information?

Summit DMS’s powerful search capability helps you quickly find information and people. You can search within projects, client details, application details etc. as well as within employees or your database of technicians/consultants.

Does SummitDMS allow timesheet management?

Summit DMS has an in-built timesheet management system that technicians can use to log hours spent on the project. Once the site manager approves or modifies the hours worked, the information is used for billing.

Can I set up alerts and reminders?

Absolutely! Summit DMS also allows you to set up activities for which alerts are sent to project team members.

Will my employees need training to use SummitDMS?

SummitDMS is intuitive and extremely easy to use, and can be used by your employees, clients, partners or vendors with no prior training. However, if you feel the need for user training, we can work with you to provide the same.
